Who I am
Hevin Design is me, Michael Piras. This policy explains what information I collect through hevin.design and what I do with it.
What I collect
- What you send me. If you use the enquiry form, I get your name, email, your message, and the project type and budget you pick. If you email or call me, I get whatever you include.
- How the site is used. Google Analytics records things like which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location. It uses cookies to do this.
- Hosting and security. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, do the work you've asked for, and understand how the site is used so I can improve it. I won't add you to a mailing list, and I don't sell or rent your details to anyone.
Services I use
- Formspree receives enquiry form submissions and emails them to me.
- Google Analytics measures site usage.
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site.
Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy. Some of these services store data outside Australia.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
Your clients' data
If a project gives me access to your customers' information, I use it only to do that work and don't keep it longer than the work needs.
Security
I take reasonable care to keep information secure, but no method of sending or storing data online is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it.
